And they lived happily ever after...

Wishing Deepti and Marthanda a wonderful married life...

This was a wedding that I had been eagerly waiting for ...

The Shimoga trip was one that was planned very well in advance ... replanned and unplanned and again planned, but finally, we managed to be there.

Arun could not join this time too, though it was he who booked tickets. Archana was so kind that she invited all her friends to special breakfast and lunch parties to give away invitations for her dear sister's big day.

This was a wedding that I could really attend....getting to witnessing the muhurtam. For most recent marriages, I have missed them, having landed up late at the venue or having slept over after partying hard the previous night.

Rajani, Ravi, Raghu, and me from Bangalore were there....were part of the rituals, got to meet and wish the couple in our own ways.

Some passionate photographer clicked and clicked pretty faces till his fingers ached and had to break for a while. The food was really good, relished them, especially the sweets.

Chetana was real good company and made friends with all very easily. She made sure she was with us and in her cheerful spirits, smiling all through the day, from breakfast over photo sessions till we left the mantap.

Sarita was a friend we made, who came all the way from Orissa...it was interesting to know that she spent most of her time in an ashram near Delhi.

Dec 2, 2009 was a very special day and marked the beginning of an enchanting love story....

...a lovely fairy tale. The tale of the handsome King Marthanda Babu & the young and beautiful Queen Deepti. The story has just started and unfolds... I wish them all happiness as they live happily ever .....

Thanks for the wonderful description of the entire wedding. Reading through this write up, made me feel as if I was a part of the entire scene as a silent observer.

Nice one dude ... pulled off another sizzler with your simple and yet amazing writing.

keep up the punch...
Ravi is amazing photographer too :) handling the lens well and focused. Ravi should find more in natural and beautiful ... than in Nature ... Nice pics though of those trekking moments...
